HOW IT ALL BEGAN
How did we become a writing duo?
Our collaboration began in 2013, so we know each other very well. That is why we trust one another.
Despite our different cultural backgrounds and personalities, we work with the same mindset and dedication, which forms the foundation of our creative partnership.
This duality is what gives our stories their unique character.
Collen Dutch Maje
The director of Majestic Books, whose goal is to bring as many English-language books by authors as possible to the international market.
He plays a key role both in discovering new authors and in managing the publishing process.
As a co-author, he also takes part in revising manuscripts to ensure they meet the expectations of English-speaking readers.
For him, this is not just a business, but an exciting creative process.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and watching football.
I am Éva Sütő
author, editor, and business partner at Majestic Books. After the success of my books published in Hungarian, I decided it was time to step into the English-language market as well. (In Hungary, my books continue to be exclusively distributed by Helma Könyvek.)
It is an exciting challenge, whether we are adapting earlier stories or creating new ones. And with a partner like Collen Maje, I believe only full success is possible.
In my personal life, I love watching films and reading.
Our Shared Goal
Our goal is to publish books together across as many genres as possible in English. Éva will continue writing for the Hungarian market as well, as her books are loved by many readers, and Hungarian remains her first language.
